Ok… I know you guys are out west.. but if anyone knows of any proper Ramen in Minnesota this would be a great thing.. I haven’t had a good tasty bowl of Miso ramen, Shoyu Ramen or even a good tonkotsu ramen in years and am now craving some in the worst of ways… I lived in Japan for over 4 years and enjoyed heaping, steamy bowls of this 3-4 times a week.. Along with some tasty goyza and ice cold beer from a friends Ramen stand on the street..

I’ll even settle for a good recipe… Seems all Americans think Ramen is that dried 12c a package type!  Well not this one!!!

Any help would be appreciated....Thank you… Keep up the great work on this site…

wow, i’ll definitely have to do some research for you. the closest i can come off the top is a santouka ramen in chicago - at the mitsuwa marketplace there. for what it’s worth, it’s probably the best and most authentic ramen outside of japan! but that’s still a several hour drive isn’t it? i’ll see what else i can dig up…
