rameniac’s movie review #1:

a great movie that no rameniac should miss. it’s about a bunch of food writers on a mission to eat at all the different mom and pop udon shops (and there are hundreds of them) in this one little hamlet in japan. it features the dude from bayside shakedown (yusuke santamaria) and the chick from audition (eiko koike) who put pins into guys’ eyelids and sawed their feet off. anyway, this lovable duo inadvertently start an udon craze with their witty and clever food writing. what a concept!

nah, definitely fictional. i’d say it’s a dramedy, with real heart and wit!
