Yes I am!  But since I don’t have much ice cream or cheese cravings I’m pretty much ok smile

Where it does get me are cream based soups--Famima has a killer tomato basil soup.  Need to pop an Ultra Lactaid pill beforehand.

oKarma drinks and eats all kinds of dairy! he especially likes the milk from france he bought at Sainsbury’s once. he has also brought back a half-suitcase full or Frenchy cheese. the costco 1% organic milk is cheap and full of flavor. if one wants to be decadent, oKarma recommends Clover Stornetta organic whole milk. espresso drinks made with this milk sends oKarma up floating in a cloud-9 experience, as he experienced at Ritual Coffee Roasters in the Mission District.

I didn’t use to be but I notice sometimes I don’t feel “well” after some dairy stuff.

However, I don’t require any pills to neutralize my dairy cravings.

OKarma’s post has made Pirikara feel queasy in a lactose-intolerant kinda way. ANNOUNCEMENT!: Pirikara will be trying an FDA non-approved product claiming to relieve the lactose-intolerant of their pain. It’s called Lactagen. Look for Pirikara’s post in the coming weeks at mikeyhateseverything.blogspot.com

oKarma forgot to mention the double and triple cream one can buy at british supermarkets. wonderful whipped with scones. oKarma also likes chevre, or goat-milk cheese as well. oKarma craves the gamey taste. the netherlands is also a great place for oKarma to visit, as all they eat is milk, cheese, cheese soup, cheese sandwiches, and coffee…

I feel the exact same way. I enjoy cheese and yogurt way too mcuh to even imagine what lactose intolerance would do to my eating habits.

Like just enough to leave a syrupy gulp of chocolate milk (if you could even call it that)?

I’m about as lactose intolerant as a Whale is intolerant of Saline,

I go through approx 15 litres whole milk a week, mostly in Tea rasberry but I also drink it straight, Not a real maniacal Ice cream fan But Custards and Trifle for desert, And as for Butter I eat that like cheese

Favourite is a Tin of evaporated milk, 2 holes in the top and a straw, that or Fresh single Cream

You can try over-the-counter Lactase tablet.  It should help people with lactose intolerence.
